Amending Part II: General Legislation/Fees Article VIII Parks and  
Recreation Fees ยง 270-58 Golf Course Fees, Chapter 270 Fees, by  
revising and establishing new fees for the Allentown Municipal Golf Course.

Mr. Jeffrey Wambold talked about the operating costs. The increases will  
be $2 for all 18 holes green fees, $1 for a 9-hole cart and $2 for an 18-hole  
cart. the season passes are going up. The driving range balls will go up.  
The competition fees are in the same range or higher.  
Ms. Candida Affa asked if there were any questions from the committee.  
She stated that this is in the realm. There was a study of courses around  
the city. She stated that she believes the city has one of the best golf  
courses around. People come from all over.  
Mr. Rick Holtzman stated that the field costs, the Golf Course is just being  
competitive. It is revenue over expenses. It is the least amount possible to  
raise.  
Ms. Candida Affa stated that we can't have a golf course as pristine as  
ours without costs.  
Mr. Glenn Hunsicker asked about the general city charges, what is the new  
number. How many rounds of golf we have to play to pay that back to the  
city.  
Mr. Rick Holtzman stated that in 2022, we had 55,000 rounds of golf. In  
2022, the general city charges was $367,000.  
Mr. Jeffrey Wambold stated that the revenue is about $2.2 million.  
Ms. Candida Affa asked if there were any other comments from the public.

be forwarded to Council.

Amending the 2022 Capital Fund Budget to provide for a transfer of Fifty  
Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars from Jordan Creek Greenway Trail Capital  
Project into the Parks Master Plan Capital Project to use for a grant match  
for the comprehensive plan.

Mr. Rick Holtzman stated that this is just to clean up accounts. The transfer  
happened a month or so ago. They moved $100,000 to the Jordan Creek  
Greenway fund. He stated that $50,000 of that money was supposed to go  
towards the match for the Master Plan update.  
Ms. Candida Affa asked if there were any comments from Ms. Gerlach or  
Ms. Santos.  
Ms. Ce Ce Gerlach stated that she does not have any comments.
