ARPA coordinators roundtable
AWC will host regular roundtable meetings for city ARPA coordinators. These meetings will be an opportunity for ARPA coordinators to ask questions, share experiences and programs, and make connections with other ARPA coordinators.

How can cities use ARP funds?
Cities can use ARP funds to:
- Support public health expenditures;
- Address the negative economic impacts caused by the public health emergency;
- Replace lost public sector revenue;
- Provide premium pay for essential workers; and
- Invest in water, sewer, and broadband infrastructure.
Cities have until December 31, 2024, to obligate funds and until December 31, 2026, to spend funds.

The Treasury Department released an FAQ on the ARPA local fiscal recovery funds. The document provides a comprehensive overview of how funds from the program can be spent. The Treasury also published an FAQ specifically for non-entitlement units of government.
