Amending the 2025 Golf Fund budget by upgrading one Maintenance
Worker 2 (M08) position with a salary of $43,950 to Greenskeeper (M16)
with a salary of $53,358 to better align with skills necessary for the position
within a very competitive labor market.

Ms. Ce Ce Gerlach thanked Mr. Hanlon and asked is there anyone here to
speak to this.
Mr. Jeffrey Wambold stated that they want to touch on the new
Superintendent who came in late last year. He is a Penn State graduate. It
will be very important to our Golf Course. He is doing a great job as of
now. He stated that the course itself, as everybody knows and he will do
very well. He stated as far as budget goes, you probably have about $1.6
or $1.7 million in the bank. They are doing a bumper project renovation
right now which they have . He stated that Josh is overseeing that project.
It is going to really make us stand out beautifully because the course bunker
needed to be done. The customer really expect course conditions. The
position changed and it would give us a more educated person that will
enhance Josh's position. He stated that he is experienced and will
supervise some of that W2s and also and will have some type of input on
the golf course. He stated as far as t eh budget goes, it should address
everything. In the budget, it may cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Male voice stated right now for this year it is $294.67.
Ms. Ce Ce Gerlach stated ok and asked if there was any questions from
the committee.
Mr. Ed Zucal stated that he just saw that the stepping is $10,000 which is
not a big deal. He asked is this a seasonal thing or yearly.
Employee is Parks and Recreation stated that it would full-time, yearly.
