Abatement with procedures drawn from the Third-Class City Code.

Mr. Michael Hanlon stated just so you know, this was before you before and
was sent back to Mr. Kloiber for a draft to change the Appeals board.
Chief Charles Roca stated that the Nuisance Abatement appealing is
actually getting us to what the Third Class City Code states. The city can
take affective action against establishments who do not comply.
<p>Attorney Mathew Kloiber stated at the last committee meeting that this
was before Council, it was some changes that Council ask the Solicitor's
office to make and the process. He made changes to the structure in
Section 406-7. There is a change in Section 406-3 Paragraph F.
Ms. Candida Affa stated that basically everything that was taken out and
everything else is basically the same.
Attorney Matthew Kloiber stated it is the same language.</p>
Mr. Daryl Hendricks stated that it is a good thing to make sure it matches
what the Third Class City Code is beneficial.
Mr. Ed Zucal asked if the DCNR has any play.
Chief Charles Roca stated that the DCNR is separate. It specifically
addresses the noise complaint issues with residents that will call in if the
person is renting the residence.
