Bill 95 Refer to Public Safety - There is a request to vote on this tonight and waive the 14 days between introduction and final passage provided the bill passes with 6 votes - amendment would be needed.
Amending the 2021 Capital Fund Budget to provide for a supplemental appropriation of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) as a result from a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (PA DCED) Initiative Program to the Allentown Fire Department to provide funds which will be utilized for all costs associated with the appliance and furnishing related costs for the Fire Academy Public Safety Training and EOC building.
I move to amend Bill 95 by adding the following as Section Five the bill:
Section Five: That Pursuant to Section 218 of the Home Rule Charter and by the affirmative vote of six of seven members the 14 day period between introduction and passage of this ordinance is hereby eliminated.
