Amending the Allentown City Code by adding Chapter 653, Workforce Housing, to promote the development of workforce housing within the City of Allentown by establishing affordability requirements for certain multifamily rental housing developments involving ten (10) or more dwelling units that receive tax abatements under the City's Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA) Program, receive at least $250,000 in City Housing Trust Fund funding, or acquire or utilize publicly owned or controlled land, subject to certain exceptions.
