Bill 34 Parks and Rec, Recommended Favorably with Amendments
Amending Article 951, Park Regulations of the Codified Ordinances, by making Parks and Recreation the governing agency, modifying the language on conducting city business in parks, renumbering definitions, prohibiting buses from entering and parking in the park without a permit, prohibiting bonfires, using a generator, possessing or drinking alcoholic beverages or building a fire without a permit, allowing bike riding only in authorized places and times, modifying the permit process including deleting the appeal process and allowing the Director or designee to revoke a permit, and enabling SWEEP tickets to be issued for a number of violations.
