The Board is the City Health Bureau's chief advisory group in matters and problems that impact public health. The Board is established in state statute, where the City Council has delegated its power to appoint to the Mayor, reserving the right to provide advice and consent to the Mayor's recommendations. The group meets on the first Thursday of every month (except July and August) beginning in January at noon in the Health Bureau offices in Alliance Hall, 245 N. 6th Street. Member Requirements: 5 Members Term Limits: Serve 5 year terms
