The members of this Commission meet on the second Tuesday of every month (except November due to Election Day) at 8:30 AM at the Bureau of Engineering, 3rd floor Office, 641 S Third Street. They review and implement Shade Tree Ordinance programs that affect pruning, planting, spraying, and removal of trees within the public right of way. The Commission also reviews landscape plans for all developments within Allentown. The Board was established by ordinance of City Council, where the Mayor appoints members with City Council's advice and consent. Member Requirements: 5 Members (one being a City Council Representative).
